"We had the great pleasure of being officiated by Julianne at our wedding in February 2012. Julanne is a warm, professional and friendly celebrant whom we felt instantly comfortable with and who we felt truly cared about our day and our ceremony.
Julanne was always approachable and contactable and provided many wording and reading options for us to use as we wished. She skillfully incorporated our background information into the drafts of the ceremony, allowing versions to be flicked between ourselves and refined until we were entirely happy with it. On the day she looked wonderful; spoke with ease and grace, relaxed our guests (and us!) with reverence for the occasion without being officious or stuffy.
"A few weeks after our ceremony we attended a friend's wedding where it starkly highlighted the superior job Julianne did for our wedding which appeared so seamless and effortless. Whilst this other celebrant appeared to enjoy the limelight, it was clear how Julianne made the ceremony about us. Seemingly small details made such a difference – for example the other celebrant used a lapel microphone so when the vows were repeated, the celebrant was the only one that could be heard and not the bride and groom. For our vows, Julianne stepped elegantly aside, holding a microphone to each of us so guests could only hear us and did not hear her voice.
